Poltava Vorskla has won the women’s football championship for the sixth

Poltava Vorskla became the Ukrainian football champion among women of the season 2024/25. In the final, 20th round of the championship, the team was beaten by a miner with a score of 2-0, retaining its 3-point advantage over Metalist 1925.

In 20 championship matches this season Vorskla has not been defeated – 16 victories and 4 draws. For Vorskla, this is the sixth championship title in history and the third-after renaming from housing-2 in 2022.

Metalist 1925 completed the season in second place and received a permit for the Champions League qualification. The bronze of the championship was won by an ear, which will play in the debut draw of the women’s league in Europe next season.
