In Kharkiv, in the Saltiv district, a man attacked with a knife the employees of the TCC and SP mAfter the start of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, martial law was introduced and general mobilization was announced. Reports of scandals and conflicts between TCC employees and citizens on the streets of towns and villages regularly appear in the Ukrainian information space. Negative information about the mobilization spreads quickly through social networks.

The Ukrainian military and representatives of the authorities declare that this is a consequence of informational and psychological operations of the Russian Federation during the inspection of documents, the press service of the police said in a statement.

Law enforcement officers say that as a result of the incident, two servicemen were wounded in the head and torso. The incident occurred during planned mobilization activities. Noticing the military, a 31-year-old local resident tried to run away, but later turned to aggressive actions.

“The man, having noticed the servicemen, started to run away, and later took out a knife and wounded two employees of the TCC and the SP,” the police said.

The police press service clarified that the victims were diagnosed with non-penetrating knife wounds. The attacker was quickly detained by the criminal police.

Investigators have already charged the detainee with part 2 of Art. 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It is about violence against an official who performs a public duty.
