Poland handed over two Mi-8 helicopters and one Bell 412-HP to the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for pilot training.
This was reported by the Polish Government Agency of Strategic Reserves on Friday, December 20 (RARS).
It is noted that the equipment previously belonged to the Polish police and was transferred by decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland as part of assistance to Ukraine.
RARS notes that this is not the first transfer of Polish police equipment to Ukraine through the logistics hub created by the Polish government on May 20, 2022.
On November 8, Poland reported on record aid to Ukraine. On the president’s website, it was said that Poland ranks first among the countries that provide aid to Ukraine in terms of GDP.

According to Andrzej Duda’s administration, Poland handed over 350 tanks to Ukraine, including: 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks, as well as 60 PT-91 tanks and 280 units of older tanks (T72M, T72M1, T72M1R).
Poland also transferred 14 MiG-29 aircraft and 12 Mi-24 helicopters to Ukraine.
