“The statement was sent to the competent judicial authorities of Greece and confirms the will of the Plakhotniuk authorities openly to cooperate with the international judicial process with the purpose of rapid and unimpeded decision of court procedures,” the lawyer said.
Rogak’s statement was heard after the Prosecutor General’s Office of Moldova denied Plakhotniuk’s consent to the extradition at home.

- In Greece, on July 22, a fugitive oligarch, known in the past as “Lord of Moldova”, Vlad Plahotniuk, as well as former deputy Konstantin Tsutsu. Ministry of Justice of Moldova launched the procedure of extradition of Plahotniuk.
- The Greek Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest until Moldova’s request was considered.
- On July 24, it became known that Russia also issued a request for extradition from Greece Plahotniuk.
