“The Ministry of Energy said it did not receive any official documents on personnel changes from the Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo”, – WRITE: www.radiosvoboda.org
The Ministry also adds that as a shareholder of the company it operates solely within the law and in the interests of ensuring the stability and energy security of the country.
On September 26, RBC-Ukraine, with reference to its own sources, reported that the Supervisory Board decided to release Vitaliy Zaichenko and the entire board of Ukrenergo, except Alexei Brecht-he will become the acting chairman of the company. This decision was allegedly approved at the Supervisory Board meeting online.
According to RBC-Ukraine, the decision to dismiss Ukrenergo chairman was made in response to the results of the inspection by the National Securities and Stock Market (NCSSMC). The check showed that two members of the board – Ivan Yuryk and Oleg Pavlenko – were appointed in the summer. These violations were not eliminated in time, so the Supervisory Board decided to release not only the board members, but also Zaichenko, to whom they “lost confidence.”
