According to NABU and SBU, the People’s Deputy organized a scheme to appropriate the academy’s property. During 2021-2023, the person involved used controlled agricultural land for growing and illegally selling wholesale batches of grain through a network of affiliated companies. It is about more than 2.5 thousand tons of agricultural products.
To implement the equipment, the people’s deputy involved a deputy of the Kyiv regional council, two heads of state-owned enterprises of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences and a trusted person.
In order to hide the crime, the accused did not reflect the real amount of the harvested crop in the accompanying documents.

The question of choosing preventive measures for them is being resolved. Perpetrators face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
