It is noted that the number of vehicles passing through checkpoints also increased from 93,000 during the week. to 117,000, while the flow of vehicles with humanitarian cargo – from 418 to 442.
According to the data of the State Border Service, as of 09:00, January 12, 2025, the largest concentration of vehicles leaving Ukraine was at the border with Slovakia:
in PP “Uzhhorod” – 25 passenger cars,

in PE “Maly Berezny” – 15 cars.
At the same time, as at all other borders, there were small queues only at the “Kosino” and “Tysa” checkpoints on the border with Hungary – 10 and 6 cars, and the “Ustylug” checkpoint on the border with Poland – 10 cars.
The total number of people crossing the border during New Year’s week is higher than last year: during the same seven days, 278,000 people left Ukraine and 229,000 entered, the flow of cars was 100,000. Last year, passenger traffic increased by 6.7% this week, while it fell by 14.8% the following week.
