Pariah Scholtz in the pre-election program prescribed the rejection of Taurus for Ukraine

The Social Democratic Party of the current Chancellor of Germany (SPD) Olaf Scholz in the pre-election program may include a separate clause in the refusal to provide Ukraine with long-range Taurus missiles. This was reported by the Berliner Morgenpost, writes UNN.

In the program, according to media reports, the country’s social democrats promise Ukraine assistance as long as it is necessary.

SPD is clearly committed to providing diplomatic, military, financial and humanitarian support to Ukrainians in their struggle against Russian aggression, which violates international law, for as long as it takes. Ukraine should be able to conduct possible negotiations on an equal footing with Russia.”

The draft program states that the SPD supports the training of the Ukrainian armed forces and the supply of weapons and equipment with “prudence and a sense of proportion” to protect Ukraine and ensure peace in Europe.

At the same time, SPD notes that the aid should be such that Germany and NATO do not have to become a participant in the war.

“This is why we support Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s decision not to supply Taurus cruise missiles from Bundeswehr warehouses,” the program states.
