The deputy head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Pavlo Palis has announced the expansion of the 18-24 contract program to operators of unmanned systems.

According to him, new conditions cover not only operators of air platforms, but also specialists of land robotic complexes.

“The contract for operators of unmanned systems provides 24 months of service, of which at least 12 – direct participation in hostilities. This term provides quality preparation and full integration into the team. A million hryvnias are paid in stages – three tranches, ”he wrote on Facebook.

Palis noted that after fulfilling the terms of the contract, the servicemen are not subject to conscription during the year, additionally granted a mortgage under 0 % and the right to travel abroad after service.

The preparation will last up to four months: up to 45 days of the basic course, up to 60 days of professional training (taking into account the current certificates) and 14 days of the adaptation course, added the representative of the Presidential Office.

In February, the Ministry of Defense reported the launch of the Project “Contract 18-24”, which provides for the conclusion of volunteers aged 18-24 years of annual contract for UAH 1 million. The legislation of Ukraine provides for the mobilization of conscripts aged 25 to 60 years.
