Details: The Assembly Chairman confirmed the information that Georgia had stopped relations with the PACE in response to the decision of the Assembly, which imposed sanctions on the Georgian delegation.

“I regret the decision of the Georgian delegation to withdraw from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe after today’s vote of the Assembly for ratification of the delegation with the imposition of conditions on it,” the PACE President said.

Ruspulos also put on Tbilisi responsibility for the disruption of the dialogue, despite PACE efforts to establish him: “This undermines a dialogue that could contribute to the promotion of democratic standards in Georgia.”

Georgia reported that Georgia announced the “exit” of the PACE and stated that she was waiting when blackmail stops.
