Details: According to his data, as of November 27, there are more than 16,000 civilian residents in Pokrovsk, Kurakhovo, Myrnograd, Toretsk, and Chasovo Yar, which are close to the front line.
Pokrovsk — about 11,500 adults and 32 children (on October 29, there were 12,000 adults and 51 children);
Myrnograd — 3,000 adults (on November 10, there were “about 3,000”);
Chasiv Yar — 300 adults (on November 5, less than 400 civilians were known throughout the Chasovoyarsk community);
Toretsk — 600-620 adults (on November 4 there were “about 900”);
Kurakhove — 600-650 adults (on November 6, their number was estimated by the authorities at 1,000).
Filashkin reported that it is practically impossible to deliver humanitarian aid to Kurakhovo, Mirnograd, Toretsk, and Chasovo Yar, because the access roads to these cities are under fire control of the Russian military.
In addition, the head of the regional administration recognized the presence of advances in the Russian army, therefore he called on civilians to evacuate more actively while there is such an opportunity.
According to official data, all children have already been evacuated from Toretsk, Mirnograd, Chasovoy Yar and Kurakhovo.
There are isolated cases of evacuation of civilians from these cities, but they take place under conditions of great risk and thanks to the Ukrainian military.
Direct speech of the head of the OVA: “They take away, evacuate our people. But these are very rare cases. All the people who had a desire, they have all left the cities. For example, in the city of Selidove, when the enemy entered the city, there were cases of shootings of the civilian population. We we convey this to the people with the help of the military, but people leave very slowly. The older people say: “These are our buildings, let us live in the ruins, but they are ours”, that is, the motivation of the people is very different”.
