The number of injured in Kryvyi Rih has increased to 14, Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Military Regional Administration, said.

Previously, it was known about nine wounded.

“There are four children among them. Boys 9 and 12 years old. And also girls, one of whom is only 1.5 years old. The other is 9. She was hospitalized. Doctors assess the patient’s condition as relatively satisfactory,” he wrote in a telegram.

According to him, five wounded remain in the hospital, three are “severe”.

Earlier, Serhii Lysak reported on the completion of emergency rescue operations in Kryvyi Rih after the Russian attack.

According to the authorities, in the afternoon of January 17, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The law enforcement officers have started a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings for the commission of a war crime that caused the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
