Ova: Almost 50 settlements of Sumy region evacuated all residents

47.5 thousand inhabitants, including 7635 children, have already been evacuated from the border areas of Sumy region. This was reported by the Director of the Department of Civil Protection of the Population Alexander Milash.

According to him, 737 people have been evacuated in the last week, of whom seven children. The largest number of evacuees from the Krasnopil community, from which about four thousand people were taken out in two weeks.

The head of Sumy Ova Volodymyr Artyukh emphasized that the priority task is now the placement of evacuated in safer areas.

According to official data, there are 48 settlements in Konotop, Sumy, Okhtyrsky and Shostka districts without residents.

In recent times, the number of blows from the border from aviation has increased in Sumy region. Russian DRGs also actively penetrate the territory of the region.

Against the background of increasing the intensity of assaults and attempts by the enemy to move the fighting to the territory of Sumy region, the commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky reported that he personally worked in units that were holding defense in the area of ​​responsibility of the group “Kursk”.

Syrsky noted that the defense forces managed to keep the “sanitary zone” in the Kursk region, blocking the promotion of the enemy on the northern border of Sumy region.
