Orban was shown the text of the anti-Ukrainian petition that will be sent before the elections

The Hungarian government sent an anti-Ukrainian petition to voters against Ukraine’s support for the EU before the elections.”, — write: www.pravda.com.ua

The Hungarian government showed the text of the petition, which will be sent to voters in the near future, so that they can say “no” to the financial support of Ukraine from the EU in the coming years.

Source: the petition was presented on the social networks of the Hungarian government, reports “European Truth”.

Details: On January 16, Viktor Orbán announced a step to apparently mobilize his voters, which is that they could oppose the financing of Ukraine by the European Union. The government has now presented a petition which it intends to send out.

The petition depicts the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi with an outstretched hand, and next to him the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the leader of the European People’s Party Manfred Weber allegedly encourage to fill the palm of the Ukrainian president.

The text of the petition states that Ukraine is going to be accepted into the European Union within the next four years and that as a member of the EU, the European Union will allegedly pay it 800 billion dollars.

“Brussels is also preparing not only to supply weapons. In Brussels, they decided to enter the war on the side of Ukraine. Ursula von der Leyen says that “Europe must fight!”. And the costs of the war will be paid by the Europeans, including us, the Hungarians. Brussels hides from the Europeans the obvious fact that Ukraine will never return hundreds of billions of euros in aid. Brussels bureaucrats are preparing to take from the Europeans and from us, Hungarians, hundreds of billions promised to Ukraine,” the petition reads.

It also says that the 13th and 14th pensions will be taken away from Hungarians, taxes will be raised for them and the reduction of utility tariffs will be canceled, “and the money will be taken to Ukraine.”

Next, the petition suggests ticking three positions: “I say “no” to the further financing of the Russian-Ukrainian war!”, “I say “no” to paying for the functioning of the Ukrainian state for the next 10 years!”, “I say “no” to the increase in utility tariffs due to the war!”.

The petition form can be returned free of charge until March 23, 2026. It should be noted that less than a month after this date, on April 12, parliamentary elections will be held in Hungary, in which Viktor Orbán’s party risks losing for the first time in a decade.

We will remind, on January 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary summoned the ambassador of Ukraine to a conversation in Budapest due to Kyiv’s alleged attempts to influence the results of parliamentary elections in the country in favor of the opposition party “Tisa”.

Last week, Volodymyr Zelenskyi said at the World Economic Forum in Davos that “every Viktor who tries to sell European interests, “deserves a pat on the back of the head“.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga considers the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban a threat to the Hungarian people.
