Direct speech of the Prime Minister of Hungary: “The war will end in 2025. Either it can be ended by peace negotiations, or one of the warring parties will be destroyed.”

Details: Orban is convinced that after the end of the Russian war against Ukraine, the European economies, in particular, the Hungarian one, will once again “have great economic success.”

However, speaking of the war, he complained that “the stars in the sky have never aligned so badly, and the last 4 years have been the hardest since the winds of regime change swept me into politics.”

Prehistory:

  • Earlier, Orban gave his version of why US President-elect Donald Trump, whom he openly supports, failed to end the war in Ukraine within a day.
  • And Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Orban’s attempts to present himself as a “mediator” in the “resolution” of the war.
  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine accuses Orban of “PR” because of the “Christmas truce” proposals.
