Viktor Orban urged everyone to express his opinion on Ukraine’s accession to the EU and take part in a survey of VOKS 2025.
“In Brussels, it is believed that Ukraine needs to take a huge loan because EU leaders know that Ukraine is unable to support Ukraine,” the Prime Minister explained. He stressed that now it is necessary to prevent Europe’s immersion in debt.
“There are countries whose large companies are already working in Ukraine, and most of the money will get to these companies,” he said. Orban recalled that when Hungary joined the EU, part of the money belonging to the country went to foreign companies.
“If it were profitable for the Hungarians, they would support Ukraine’s membership, but our country would pay an additional price for Ukraine’s accession,” Orban said.
