Details: For the first time personally commenting on the sanctions against Rohan, Orbán emphasized that he “is the minister responsible for the national security service, the number one defender of Hungary’s national sovereignty.”
“And if he is punished by a big state, it means that he is doing his job well, and this is our starting point,” he added.
In this context, the Hungarian Prime Minister further stated that his foreign policy goal this year will be to “oust the Soros empire from Europe” and primarily from Hungary.
“The time has come… to liquidate the foreign networks that threaten the national sovereignty of Hungary and send them home. Hungary will probably become the first country (in Europe. – ed.) to displace the Soros empire, this is my definite goal for this year Orban stressed.
Antal Rogan was placed on the US sanctions list under the Magnitsky Act, which provides for the prosecution of people guilty of serious human rights violations and corruption around the world.
Rohan is the head of the Hungarian government’s media empire, which spans the entire country and spreads pro-government propaganda.
It should be noted that Antal Rogan became the first high-ranking official of Hungary against whom the USA imposed sanctions.
