Openai suggested Chatgpt Enterprise to US government agencies almost free

Vlad Cherevko I have been interested in all kinds of electronics and technologies since 2004. I like to play computer games, and I understand the work of different gadgets. I regularly monitor the news of the technology in the world and write materials about it.

OpenAi has concluded an agreement with the US General Services (GSA), under which federal agencies will only access Catgpt Enterprise during the year for $ 1 for the agency. Techcrunch writes about it.

The proposal came into force the day after GSA has added Openai, Google and Anthopic to the list of approved artificial intelligence suppliers for civilian agencies. Thanks to this, their tools have become available through the MAS system, a special platform that allows government agencies to use the AI without having to negotiate with each supplier separately.

GSA Federal Procurement Commissioner Josh Grunbaum called Google and Anthropic to follow the Openai example and cooperate with the government. It is unclear whether these companies will offer similar conditions.

In addition to basic access to Catgpt Enterprise, Openai provides unlimited use of their advanced models for an additional 60 days, and also opens access to government users and educational materials for OPENAI tools.

Data safety issues remain key in dialogue between SI-suppliers and US state structures. GSA requires guarantee that confidential information will not get into the training sets of models. Openai, in turn, assures that all safety rules for government users will follow.

OpenAi proposal appeared after the new Trump administration was released. It envisages the development of Date-Centers and in-depth integration of the AI into state processes.
