On December 19, seven people were wounded in the Kherson region due to strikes by the Russian Federation – OVA

On the morning of December 19, the Russian military struck the Kherson region, as a result of which seven people were injured, the regional military administration reported.

According to the report, five people were injured during the attack on Novovorontsovtsi, two – in Kherson.

“In the morning, the Russians attacked Novovorontsovka with a drone. As a result of the attack, the building of a local store and three vehicles were damaged… In total, five people were injured as a result of this attack,” OVA said.

In particular, a 58-year-old woman suffered an explosive injury, a contusion and a shrapnel injury to her lower leg; a 44-year-old local woman has serious injuries – explosive and open craniocerebral injuries, contusion of the brain, multiple shrapnel injuries to the head, cerebral coma; another 58-year-old victim suffered an explosive injury, a contusion and shrapnel injuries to both lower legs; a 65-year-old man was diagnosed with an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to the eye; another victim is a 71-year-old woman who suffered a shrapnel wound to the chest.

“At approximately 09:30, Russian troops struck Kherson with an unmanned aerial vehicle. A 57-year-old man received an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his leg due to an attack by an enemy drone. The victim was hospitalized in moderate condition. An elderly woman was also injured. A 77-year-old woman from Kherson was diagnosed with an explosive injury and contusion. The “ambulance” team took the victim to the hospital for medical assistance,” the report says.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
