Ombudsman received more than 1.6 thousand complaints about CCC actions during mobilization

In the first 5 months of 2025, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets received more than 1.6 thousand complaints about the actions of the Tax Code and JV during the mobilization of the military and their families.

Details: During 2023, about 0.5 thousand requests for the mobilization rights were received from the military and their relatives to the Ombudsman. For 2024 such complaints were more than 3.3 thousand. During the first 5 months of 2025, more than 1.6 thousand were received similar appeals.

Prehistory:

• In early June, the former combat physician Roman Yoda Zamriy stated that he was kept in the Chernivtsi shopping center without phone, food and water for three days, despite the right to deferral. Later it became known that Zamriy did not update the documents for delay.
• The Military Law Enforcement Service (VSP) is currently checking the territorial staffing center, which has an incident with “Ioda”. After mobilization, he serves in one of the military units.
