Independent experts together with “Ukrainian Pravda” selected one hundred Ukrainians who were included in the list of leaders of UP 100. In the “Business” category, Oleksandr Konotopskyi – entrepreneur, founder and chairman of the supervisory board of the Ajax Systems company – will receive one of the awards.
The start of a full-scale war forced the entrepreneur Oleksandr Konotopskyi to relocate an entire factory of electronic devices to Transcarpathia. In March 2022, 160 truckloads of all the company’s equipment were taken out of Kyiv, and already in April, Ajax Systems resumed the full production cycle. During the first 8 months of the full-scale war, Konotopsky’s business grew by almost 50%, and the company did not lose a single customer and did not postpone the launch of new products.
In 2023, the company presented a line of devices for video surveillance and launched the Air Alert application (“Map of air alarms”), which was downloaded more than 24 million times. The application itself notifies users of seven types of threats: air raids, artillery fire, street fighting, chemical and radiation hazards.
Already in 2024, the Ajax Systems company received the most prestigious award in the field of industrial design Red Dot for its developments. In particular, the project of the LightSwitch light control line, the WaterStop and LeaksProtect anti-flood system and the KeyPad TouchScreen control panel received the award.
At the beginning of the same year, Konotopsky joined the newly created Council for the Support of Entrepreneurship in Martial Law.
“I am engaged in business and I am not interested in politics and government. I am only interested in Ukraine as a jurisdiction for conducting business taking a worthy place in the world. And it is in this direction that our efforts as the Council will be directed,” -told Konotopskyi.
