Together with the announcement iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max and other devices, Apple also opened the IOS 26, iPados 26, Watchos 26 and MacOS 26. September 15, 2025.

The iPhone 17 series will be supplied with iOS 26 “out of the box”. It can also be downloaded to the iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16, as well as on all versions of the iPhone SE.

Wathos 26 will be available on Apple Watch Se 2-Generation, Apple Watch Series 6 and newer, and on all versions of Apple Watch Ultra.

With iPados and MacOS, everything is a little more complicated. MacOS 26 (also known as MacOS Tahoe) requires one of the following Mac:

• MacBook Air with Apple Silicon Chip (2020 and Like)
• MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon (2020 and newer)
• MacBook Pro 16 “(2019)
• MacBook Pro 13 “(2020)
• IMAC (2020 and newer)
• Mac mini (2020 and newer)

iPados 26 compatible with the following models:

• iPad (8th generation and newer)

Meanwhile Apple has not yet announced the exit date tvos 26. So far, the update “will appear this fall” has been stated. The company may be postponing to the announcement of the new version of Apple TV.
