Before that, the Odesa Regional TCC commented on another incident in Odesa on February 4. The video published on social networks shows how the military TCC used force on the man. The TCC stated that “the specified person reacted aggressively to the legal demand of the servicemen to go to the district territorial center of staffing and social support to clarify the credentials and draw up the necessary documents and, according to preliminary data, physically resisted and attacked the serviceman.”
The TCC noted that the servicemen acted in self-defense, and the video published on social networks “does not reflect the full chronology of events and has signs of selective editing.”
At the same time, the TCC reported that they had initiated an official inspection “in order to fully and objectively assess the actions of all participants in the event, compliance by military personnel with the requirements of legislation and service instructions.”
After the start of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, martial law was introduced and general mobilization was announced. Reports of scandals and conflicts between TCC employees and citizens on the streets of towns and villages regularly appear in the Ukrainian information space. Negative information about the mobilization spreads quickly through social networks.
The Ukrainian military and government officials claim that this is the result of the informational and psychological operations of the Russian Federation.
