Tomahawk has higher speed and combat force than Ukrainian drones that can strike deep into Russia, but often face modern air defense systems.
Ukraine has appealed to partners with requests for long -range weapons during the last year. Kyiv also tries to develop its own long -range solutions, including the Palyanytsya and Flamingo systems, but they do not have such combat characteristics as Tomahawk.
