Norwegian foreign ministers and work arrived in Ukraine “To express support”

Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Bart Eida reported on March 26 of his arrival in Ukraine together with the Ministry of Labor and Inclusion Tonier Brenn. The head of the Foreign Ministry of Norway wrote about it on the social network X.

“We are here to express the adamant support and long -term partnership of Norway with the people of Ukraine at a critical moment,” Eid said.

The Norwegian delegation arrived against the backdrop of long -lasting Russian infrastructure attacks and in the period of intensive international consultations on possible ceasefire.

On March 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made a visit to Norway.

Norway is the only European country that can finance the increase in Ukraine’s support from its own savings rather than by debt or the use of frozen Russian assets, since this Scandinavian state has the largest sovereign assets in the world for $ 1.8 trillion.

The country with a population of 5.6 million people is a member of NATO, but not the European Union, and has a common border with Russia in the Arctic.
