Norway will provide four billion Norwegian crowns in 2025 to the Czech initiative to supply artillery ammunition to Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the country.

“Ukraine needs constant supply of artillery shells to support its struggle for freedom against Russian invading forces. It is important for Norway to promote the efforts to replenish Ukrainian ammunition stocks, ”said Prime Minister of the country Jonas Gar Stere.

Norway will also provide a billion of Norwegian crowns to the European Peace Fund (EPF).

“Norway and the EU have established closely effective cooperation on military assistance to Ukraine. Both our contribution to the European Peace Fund and the joint support of the Czech ammunition initiative clearly demonstrate that Europe continues to support Ukraine, ”the country’s prime minister added.

New assistance from Norway is part of a recently announced increase in the Norway Support for 50 billion Norwegian Crops from Norway for 2025.

In Norway, the government and opposition leaders have agreed to increase Ukraine’s funding to 85 billion Norwegian crowns on March 6 (this is $ 7.83 billion). This is 50 billion crowns more than the plan agreed in November 2024, which provided for the allocation of 35 billion crowns.
