According to the President, the ceasefire should not be temporary and not for the amenities of Russia, but immediate, complete and unconditional, at least 30 days.

Direct Language: “Now again, another attempt to manipulate: for some reason everyone has to wait on May 8 and only then stop the fire to provide Putin’s silence for the time of the parade.

We value people’s lives, not parades. That is why we think – the world thinks – that there is no reason to wait on May 8. And the fire should not be stopped for a few days, then to kill again. Immediate, full and unconditional ceasefire – and at least 30 days to be guaranteed and reliable – is what can give the basis of real diplomacy. ”

That preceded:

  • At the same time, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine will act mirror in the ceasefire of Russia. He also offered to continue the truce after April 20, if the complete silence really reigned.
  • According to the DEEPSTATE monitoring project, almost no directions have felt the so -called “Easter truce”, which the Russians promised.
