“No legislative initiatives to reduce mobilization age have been registered with the Verkhovna Rada – the People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada has no bills to reduce mobilization age below 25 years. People’s Deputy Venislavsky stated that such initiatives are only political discussions and are unlikely to find support in parliament.”, – WRITE ON: Unn.ua
The People’s Deputy, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedor Venislavsky during a briefing, reported this, reports UNN.
To date, no legislative initiatives aimed at reducing the reasonable age below 25 years have been registered in parliament. Everything that is discussed is only political discussions, which in my deep conviction will hardly find support, both in our committee and in parliament as a whole. It is only political demagogy
Venislavsky noted that last year several thousand citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 25 have concluded contracts for military service.
After the development of motivational packages that will provide one -time one, I think, monetary payments that can be stretched in time in order to attract in the army. If without these initiatives we now have thousands of people, then it will probably increase several times
Earlier, the media, citing sources, reported that men aged 18-25 are planning to encourage voluntary accession to the Armed Forces by introducing a system of motivational contracts.
