Teachers conduct special lessons that tell about prominent figures who have changed the world without aggression-Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Dalai Lama. Children can watch movies, read books, or even staging stories that teach goodness and understanding.

Often, on this day, students start white balls into the sky or make pigeons that symbolize peace. Some organize charitable actions, help those who need it, or plant trees, which is also a kind of symbol of peace and life.

Their work covers a wide range of tasks: from psychological assistance and adaptation of the military after hostilities to the organization of social payments, legal protection and support of families of fallen heroes.

The importance of this profession has increased with the beginning of the war, when the need for psychological assistance and social rehabilitation has become urgent. Military-social experts help the military not only during service, but also after returning to a peaceful life, helping to find a job, get social guarantees and overcome the consequences of combat stress.

Every year on the fourth Thursday of January NASA honors the memory of astronautswho died while fulfilling their missions. This day is dedicated to the crews Apollo 1, Challenger and Columbia, as well as other agency employees who gave their lives for space exploration.

One of the first tragedies was the fire on board Apollo 1 in 1967.
