– What are the goals before the team this season?

– I hope what else will be. We are looking for some positions of the football players to have good competition. And how it will happen … Now it is difficult to find a good football player. Either he is expensive or does not want to go to Ukraine or something else.
Good level players are either busy or not cheap. There are problems, you all know, each team is completed on their own. What positions are we looking for strengthening? In the attack group, let’s say so.
– The epicenter in the starting two matches did not score a single point (the defeat of Shakhtar and LNZ – note). What was not enough for the team?
– In the first game with Shakhtar was the advantage of the opponent, then it is clear. The boys showed a very decent game, but they did not take 10 minutes a little. As for LNZ, the Cherkasy had an opportunity, scored from a penalty. We could also compare. In the second half, the boys took the initiative, controlled the game, but could not score.
There is not enough experience, confidence. Moreover, frankly, the schedule does not spare us. At the beginning of the match with Shakhtar, Dynamo, LNZ – teams that set ambitious goals. – I didn’t even think about it. And I am very glad that I have been working here for the fifth year in a team that I was created from scratch. We went all the way from the Second League to the Premier League. I, if frankly, had suggestions, but I do not sleep, I give up the epicenter. I am satisfied here and I have great pleasure from the training process. This is the main thing.
– At what point did you understand that you wanted to be a coach?
– When I completed my career at 35, the first years did not want to be a coach, because all my life in football. But fate happened. When I thought of doing, it was the only thing I can do well. He went to work in the Dnieper, then at the national team of Ukraine, and now at the epicenter. It happened and I am very pleased with it. This is my favorite thing in which I am like a fish in the water. Football is my life.

– I did not start looking differently for football. I have an understanding of football. Just got more responsibility. When you are a player, you are responsible for yourself, for your game, and the coach is responsible for the whole team, and not only for the players. That is more responsibility.
