Naftogaz has confirmed compliance with the international ISO standard on anti-corruption

NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” has confirmed the compliance of its anti-corruption system with the international standard ISO 37001:2016 “Management systems for combating corruption”.

As reported by Ukrinform, the press service of the Naftogaz Group reported this.

“The anti-corruption management system of OJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine complies with the international standard ISO 37001:2016. This was confirmed by an external audit conducted by the TÜV Austria certification body in November 2024,” the report says.

Yes, according to the results of the audit, no non-conformities of the standard were found. The auditors also provided recommendations for improving the system.

“Obtaining the certificate is the result of two years of work by the compliance service of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. It shows the significant attention the company pays to the prevention of bribery, corruption and compliance with the principles of anti-corruption ethics.” Naftogaz stressed.

The certificate of compliance with the standard is issued for three years. Its confirmation is expected during the annual supervisory audit.

As reported, the Naftogaz Group has approved a single standard for checking counterparties, and a hotline about possible corruption violations or violations in the field of procurement is in operation.
