Ilon Musk announced his company Xai prepares to sue Apple Due to probable antitrust disorders associated with ratings of applications in App Store, CNBC writes.

The reason was the fact that chatbot Grokcreated by XAI, did not appear in the Must-Have Apps section (mandatory for installation), despite the fifth place among all free applications. Musk accused Apple of creating conditions under which only Openai May take the first place in the App Store, calling it “undeniable antitrust disorders.”

He also questioned why Apple is not promoting X (former Twitter), which, he said, is the application # 1 in the world among news and Grok. In his publications, Musk suggested that the company was “playing politics”.

Apple has not yet made comments.

This conflict unfolds against the backdrop of Apple’s partnership from Openai, concluded last year for the integration of Chatgpt in the iPhone, iPad and Mac. Musk then criticized this step and even threatened to ban Apple in its companies if integration takes place at the operating system level.

Musk and Openai are in a protracted conflict. The entrepreneur who co-founded the company in 2015 left it in 2018, and now sues her and her CEO Sam Altman, accusing him of refusing an initial mission-the creation of AI for the benefit of humanity.

Altman also commented on the situation, calling the Mask’s statements “impressive” given the accusation that Musk himself manipulates the Platform X in his favor and to the detriment of competitors.
