In the survey conducted in early August, Democrats expressed much less confidence in the ability of the president to make decisions than Republicans.
But Trump also lost confidence among the Republicans: 73% said they were “somewhat” or “very confident” in the ability of Trump to cope with the war, compared to 81% in July 2024.
The Americans are equally divided into thoughts on whether the United States has the duty to help Ukraine defend themselves in the war, and Democrats are much more likely to support US assistance to Ukraine.
Now Americans are less likely to be in March that Trump is too supported by Russia in the war. This change has occurred after Trump has changed his public position on war in recent months, becoming more critical to the Russian Federation.
Prehistory:
- Trump stated that Putin was expected to be serious about meeting, threatening “very serious consequences” for Moscow if the Russian leader disagrees to take steps to end the war.
- On the eve of the summit of US and Russia leaders Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Anchorge, a pro -Ukrainian rally took place in Alaska.
