The Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the attack by the Russian Federation with a new missile, noting that this demonstrates that Moscow does not seek peace.

“The blow itself proves that Russia does not seek peace. On the contrary, it is making every effort to expand the war,” said the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, George Tykhi.

According to him, experts’ conclusions are now awaited to determine the exact type of the new missile that Russia launched over Ukraine and which had all the flight and technical characteristics of an ICBM.

In the morning, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Russian troops attacked the Dnipro with various types of missiles, including launching an intercontinental ballistic missile. No details were provided regarding the use of an intercontinental ballistic missile by Russian troops in the Armed Forces. There are no reactions to this from the West, as well as official messages from Russia.

During a press briefing on November 21, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, was called and asked not to comment on the statements about the intercontinental ballistic missile of the Russian Federation launched over Ukraine.

According to the local authorities, an industrial enterprise was damaged in Dnipro as a result of the strike, two fires also broke out in the city, and two people were injured.

The day before, the US Embassy in Ukraine reported that it had received “specific information” about a possible significant Russian air attack on November 20. As a precaution, the embassy was closed. Subsequently, the diplomatic missions of Spain, Italy and Greece also announced the closure for visitors on November 20.

Against this background, social networks spread information about the possibility of launching an attack on Ukraine with the RS-26 “Rubezh” ballistic missile. The launches were supposed to be from a training ground in the Astrakhan region. On November 20, no such launches were reported.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
