The situation with light. Constant attacks of the enemy, unfortunately, do not allow to stabilize the situation. The power system does not have time to recover. More than 800,000 subscribers are without electricity in the capital due to emergency shutdowns.

Details: According to the minister, due to constant shelling and damage to equipment, the power deficit in the network persists, but energy companies, together with international partners, are working to reduce it.

Shmyhal reported that over 143 tons of humanitarian aid was distributed in recent days from one of the Ministry of Energy’s hubs. These are primarily generators, transformers, cables and pumps. This equipment is critically important for stabilizing the operation of enterprises.

Aid has already arrived to energy companies of Kyiv and the region, as well as Sumy region, Kharkiv region and other affected regions.

In addition, the Ministry of Energy plans to transfer part of the generators received from international partners to the heating points of the State Emergency Service. This will provide citizens with electricity during periods of long blackouts.

The agency is also expecting the arrival of additional equipment from Slovakia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Italy, Latvia and Poland.
