Details: Ukrainians were asked whether it is good or bad for Ukraine that Trump is the president of the United States. In response to this, 74% of respondents answered “bad”.

In May-June, 72% thought so, that is, the situation has hardly changed.
14% believe that it is good for Ukraine that Trump is the president (previously it was 16%).
Also, the survey shows that, compared to the end of 2024, trust in the USA and NATO dropped significantlywhile the European Union is still trusted by the majority of surveyed Ukrainians.
The survey was conducted by KMIS from November 26 to December 29 using the method of telephone interviews. 1001 respondents took part in the survey. The survey was conducted with adult citizens of Ukraine who, at the time of the survey, lived on the territory of Ukraine, which was controlled by the government of Ukraine. Formally, under normal circumstances, the statistical error of such a sample did not exceed 4.1%.
It should be noted that the final text of the Paris Declaration, approved as a result of the meeting of the “coalition of the determined” in Paris on January 6, did not include commitment phrase of the United States to support multinational forces in Ukraine in the event of a second Russian invasion (which was previously discussed in projects) – moreover, the USA is not formally a signatory of this document.
