“Today, the terrorist state carried out one missile and 28 air strikes, used 20 missiles and dropped 58 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders used 3,263 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 3,418 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the evening summary reads.
More than a hundred battles were recorded only in the Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region.
“In the Pokrovsky direction, during this day, the aggressor attacked our positions 102 times in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Novopavlivka, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Kotlyarivka, Horikhove and Dachne settlements. According to preliminary estimates, the occupiers lost 158 people killed and wounded today in the Pokrovsky direction. Our soldiers destroyed two armored fighting vehicles, two units of automobile equipment, six unmanned aerial vehicles; hit a tank, three armored combat vehicles, and 14 shelters of the enemy’s personnel,” the message stated.
It was also hot in another direction in Donetsk region – Kostyantynivskyi.
“Today, in the direction of Kostyantynivka, our troops repelled 33 enemy attacks near Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyny Yar and in the direction of Kostyantynivka and Poltavka,” the General Staff added.
Battles continued in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Lymansk, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivsk, Gulyaipilsk and Orihiv directions.
On November 12, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the Pokrovsky direction remains the main one in the context of the Russian offensive. The largest number of daily Russian assaults and the concentration of a significant part of the Russian group operating on the territory of Ukraine are recorded there. In particular, the Russian army is trying to take advantage of difficult weather conditions.
In recent days, Russian troops intensified their efforts to enter Pokrovsk in Donetsk region using light vehicles through the southern outskirts, the press service of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on November 11.
