More than 170 battles per day occurred at the front – the General Staff of the Armed Forces

During the last day, 171 combat collisions were recorded on the front, the Armed Forces General Staff reported on the morning of March 31.

“In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 73 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of settlements Alexandropil, Kalinovo, Water Second, Elizabeth, Ray, Lisivka, Zelene, Kottle, Lucky, Andriyivka, as well as to the Malynivka, Kotlyarovka, Bogdaivka, Bogdaivka, and Olekivka.

According to the headquarters, in the Toretsky direction the Russian army made 17 attacks in the areas of the Crimean, Toretsk and towards Diliyivka.

“In the operating area in the Kurshchyna, the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine stopped 21 attacks of Russian invaders over the past 24 hours. In addition, the enemy caused 20 aviation blows using a 31 managed bomb, and also made 347 artillery shelling of positions of our troops and settlements, in particular, five – from rocket launchers, ”the Armed Forces say.

The Russian Federation also advanced on Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lymansky, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Novopavlovsky, Gulyaypil, Orikhiv and Dnieper directions.

“Yesterday, the enemy struck the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements 2 missile and 116 aviation strikes, used two rockets and dropped 223. In addition, he made more than 5300 thousand shellings, of which 130 were made of rockets of volley fire and used 2620 drones-Kamikadze to strikes, ”the message reads.

The Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region remains one of the hottest areas of the front. Over the last year, the largest number of combat clashes is mainly recorded there.

On March 26, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin was “trying to win time and prepares for a spring offensive.” According to him, “Putin prepares a new offensive, in particular in Sumy and Kharkiv region.”

In March, the Russian military increased the pressure on defense forces in the Kursk region, over which the Armed Forces established control in August 2024. Subsequently, reports of the Armed Forces and their surroundings in this Russian region began to appear. The Ukrainian authorities denied it, and the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Syrsky stated that the Armed Forces would “keep defense in Kurshchyna as much as it would be appropriate and necessary.”
