“Yesterday, the invaders carried out 63 airstrikes, dropped 154 guided air bombs. In addition, 8,087 kamikaze drones were brought in to attack and 3,999 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including 41 from rocket salvo fire systems… Over the past day, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit two personnel concentration areas and six enemy artillery systems,” the message states.
Almost half of the battles took place in three directions – Pokrovsky and Kostyantynivskyi in Donetsk region and Gulyaipilskyi in Zaporizhzhia.
“In the direction of Kostyantynivka, the enemy launched 15 attacks in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultine, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil’a, Shcherbynivka, and in the direction of Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and Torsky.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 25 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nove Shakhove, Nikanorivka, Myrnograd, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filia and in the direction of the settlements of Dorozhne, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Novopavlivka.
In the direction of Gulyaipol, the Defense Forces repelled 20 attacks by Russians in the Gulyaipol area and in the direction of Dobropill, Zeleny, Sviatpetrivka,” the morning summary says.
Battles also continued in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Lymansk, Slavyansk, Oleksandrivsk, and Orihiv directions.

The Russian army broke through to the north of the Pokrovsk city boundary and was able to gain a foothold there, the DeepState project reported on January 11. A “wedge” appeared on the map of hostilities in the direction of Rodinsky, which already extends beyond the city limits.
Pokrovsk – a city with a population of about 1,250 people (estimated by local authorities at the end of October, before the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation – more than 60,000) – is an important road and railway junction and was under threat of encirclement by Russian troops for most of last year.
