According to reports, for the third day, firefighters have been extinguishing the flames in the nearby forestry area the city of Balaklia in Kharkiv Oblast. Currently, the area covered by the fire is 1168 hectares. Dry coniferous litter is burning. Rescuers are taking measures to contain the fire and prevent the flames from spreading to the tops of trees. There is currently no threat to populated areas.
33 units of equipment and 124 rescuers from the Kharkiv, Luhansk and Poltava garrisons of the State Emergency Service were involved in firefighting, including 2 pyrotechnic calculations.
