More than a third of the battles were recorded in the Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region.
“In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 36 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Zatyshok, Nove Shakhove, Dorozhne, Vilne, Chervyn Liman, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Zvirove, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, and Filia. The defense forces restrained the onslaught of the enemy and repelled 30 attacks,” the message reads.
Battles also continued in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Lymansk, Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynovsky, Oleksandrivsk, Gulyaipilsk, Orihiv and Prydniprovsk directions.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said on November 19 that the Defense Forces continue to carry out tasks in the area of the Pokrovsko-Myrnograd agglomeration. In the Pokrovsky direction, according to him, “high activity of the enemy remains, which is helped by clear interaction and coordination of actions of our units.”
