According to the collected evidence, Molchanov is charged with treason committed under martial law (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), organizing political events and information activities in cooperation with the aggressor country (part 6 of article 111-1), as well as justifying, denying or glorifying Russia’s armed aggression (part 3 of article 436-2). The figure faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property. The investigation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
