According to the investigation, from February to May 2024, the suspect repeatedly used violence against at least three servicemen during his stay in the mission area in Eastern Ukraine.
In February 2024, while in Dnipropetrovsk region, he beat a soldier because he was intoxicated. The officer kicked him in the face and continued to beat him on other parts of his body. Later, while in the Donetsk region, the suspect beat this soldier again. He ordered his subordinates to tie him to a wooden structure.
During the investigation, it became clear that the suspect in Dnipropetrovsk region beat another soldier due to a dispute over the publication of a video on the Internet about improper living conditions.
In addition, in May, while in Kharkiv Oblast, he beat a subordinate because of an alleged improper address to him.
The investigation continues, all facts of violence against soldiers in the brigade are established.

Servicemen of the 211th pontoon-bridge brigade of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told the media about mockery of soldiers, extortion of money and nepotism.
Dmytro Lubinets, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated that he sent letters to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Military Law and Order Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to verify information and conduct an official investigation with the aim of further response.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky initiated an inspection of the 211th pontoon-bridge brigade of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces due to reports of abuse of soldiers. During the inspection, the commander of the military unit was suspended.
Subsequently, criminal proceedings were initiated based on the facts of the illegal actions of the commanders of the 211th pontoon-bridge brigade, the commander of the mentioned brigade was informed of the suspicion of abuse of official position.
The investigation established that in the fall of 2023, he involved four subordinates in the construction of his house in the Khmelnytsky region instead of their service in war zones. According to the documents, the soldiers were on the front line and received salaries and combat payments in the total amount of almost one million hryvnias.
The house is being built in the Khmelnytskyi region on the territory of the Slobidsko-Kulchiyevets community. The correspondents of Suspilno were there, they spoke with the head of the community. He said that he did not know about the situation involving the military in the construction. And the house is being built for the mother of the brigade commander. Investigators, the chairman says, did not interview him on this issue.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that possible illegal actions of brigade officers are also being investigated: physical violence against subordinates, extortion of money and abuse of power. The investigation was entrusted to the SBI.
