Ministry of Internal Affairs: 10 regions were attacked by the Russian Federation, 8 people were injured, the station building was destroyed in Fastov

On the night of December 6, 10 Ukrainian regions were hit by a Russian attack, in most of them there were direct hits on residential buildings, energy, and railways, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko said.

“More than two dozen houses were damaged in Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, Zhytomyr region and Lviv region. At least eight people were injured: three in Kyiv region, three in Dnipropetrovsk region, two in Lviv region. In Fastov, the enemy destroyed the building of the railway station. In Lutsk, Dnipro and Bila Tserkva, rescuers are putting out thousands of square meters of warehouses with food and medicine,” he wrote in a telegram.

According to Klymenko, liquidation of fires at energy facilities in Kyiv region and Lviv region continues.

The mayor of Lutsk, Ihor Polishchuk, said that as a result of the attack, a fire broke out in warehouses with products in the city, as a result of which property, decorations and products on an area of ​​approximately 3,800 m2 were destroyed.

The Ministry of Energy reported that on the night of December 6, the Russian military launched a massive missile-drone attack on electricity generation, distribution and transmission facilities in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions. As a result of the attack in the morning, consumers in Odesa, Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Kharkiv are without power, the ministry said.

According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on the night of December 6, the Russian military launched a combined attack on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine using attack UAVs and missiles. The military specified that Russia used 51 missiles and 653 drones for the air attack.

“According to preliminary data, as of 10:00 a.m., 615 air targets were shot down/suppressed by air defense: 585 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber type (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types); 29 Kh-101/Iskander-K/Kalibr cruise missiles; one Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile,” the message reads.

According to the Air Force, missiles and 60 strike UAVs were hit at 29 locations, as well as falling debris at three locations.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

According to the latest UN data, in Ukraine in 2025, the number of civilian deaths from long-range weapons increased by 26%, and the number of wounded – by 75%.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
