Russian troops again attacked the energy infrastructure, the Ministry of Energy reports.

The ministry says that due to this, emergency power cuts have been introduced in a number of regions of Ukraine.

When the security situation allows, rescuers and energy workers will start liquidating the consequences of the attack in order to restore power supply in the regions as soon as possible, emergency shutdowns will be canceled after the situation in the power system is stabilized, the Ministry of Energy added.

On the night of November 19, an air alert was declared throughout Ukraine, which lasted for several hours. Social media reported the sounds of explosions in Lviv, Ternopil and Burshtyn, where the TPP is located, which has already repeatedly come under Russian fire.

Since the beginning of autumn, the Russian military has intensified its attacks on the Ukrainian energy and gas infrastructure, which supplies people with gas during the heating season.

The Ministry of Energy announced that Russia carried out one of the largest ballistic missile attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine on the night of November 8. In order to eliminate the damage and stabilize the operation of the power system, first emergency shutdowns were used, then special hourly shutdown schedules.
