The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine allowed the Armed Forces to use the JCB HMEE high-speed armored backhoe loader. These backhoe loaders are considered “the best” for military needs, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

As noted by the Ministry of Defense, “JCB HMEE is one of the most popular excavators of many armies in the world. This is an armored special vehicle that is designed to perform a wide range of tasks.”

“JCB HMEE excavators have proven themselves well during the performance of special work in difficult conditions and are in service with many advanced armies of the world,” said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

The JCB HMEE weighs about 16 tons. It develops a speed of up to 100 km/h and provides full protection for the crew. The escalator is compliant with STANAG standards for protection against damage.

High productivity of the excavator is provided by its all-wheel drive system, control of all four wheels, locking of differentials. It has specially strengthened suspension and brakes for military needs, which ensure controlled and safe operation.

In September, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine received 18 self-propelled howitzers “Bohdan” of Ukrainian production, which were financed by Denmark.
