Details: During a conversation with UP, Mindich said that there is a “big media case, which makes up about 90% of the case.”

“In the legal case, I can’t really comment, because there are lawyers, there is a whole story that I can’t comment on,” Mindich said.
He denied that he once gave any instructions to Rustem Umerov, who was the Minister of Defense.
Oleksandr Zukerman, another person involved in the films, also stated in a comment to UP that “NABU detectives, together with someone else, created the film,” referring to the released records.
Zuckerman’s direct speech: “It (NABU’s plot – ed.) was shown in order to undermine some situation in order to gain from our country.”
Prehistory:
- On the morning of November 10, it became known that NABU was conducting searches of businessman Timur Mindich and at that time Minister of Justice Herman Galushchenko. At the same time, UP sources reported that Mindich had fled abroad a few hours before the searches.
- On the same day, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine reported that it had uncovered a large-scale corruption scheme for the embezzlement of funds in the energy sector, as well as made public audio recordings of the negotiations of the participants in this case.
- On November 11, journalists revealed the names of all those involved in the investigation of mass corruption at Energoatom, who received suspicion from NABU. According to the information of the “Schemes” project, Timur Mindich (who is called “Carlson” in the NABU audio recordings – ed.), ex-advisor to the Minister of Energy Ihor Myronyuk (“Rocket”), Dmytro Basov (“Tenor”), executive director of security at “Energoatom”, Oleksandr Zukermana (“Sugarman”), Ihor Fursenko (“Ryoshik”), Lesya Ustymenko and Lyudmila Zorina received suspicions.
- Five persons from the list of suspects have been detained. Two of them – Mindich and Zukerman – left Ukraine.
- On November 13, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against Mindich and businessman Oleksandr Zukerman.
- On November 22, it became known that Ukraine has declared Timur Mindich wanted for those involved in the “Midas” case and Oleksandr Zukerman, who are suspected of committing corruption crimes.
