Details: According to the publication, Trump instructed his special representative Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner during their visit to Moscow to directly offer the Russian ruler recognition by the US of Russian control over Crimea and other occupied territories of Ukraine within the framework of the “peace agreement”.

The plans to make such an offer to the Russians were allegedly not canceled either after the negotiations in Geneva or after the reservations of the European allies.
“It is becoming increasingly clear that the Americans do not care about the European position. They say that the Europeans can do what they see fit,” the unnamed source was quoted as saying.
In his latest statements, the head of the Kremlin said that for Russia, the legal recognition of Crimea and the Luhansk and Donetsk regions as “Russian” will be one of the key issues in the negotiations regarding Trump’s “peace plan”.
Putin also said that Russia seems to be ready to state that it is “not going to attack” Europe.
Many sources say that the US proposal to recognize Russian control over the occupied territories of Ukraine “remained part of the strategy” even after the initial “28-point plan” was adjusted at the negotiations between the US and Ukrainian delegations in Geneva.
At the same time, Ukraine will not be forced to such recognition.
Earlier, the mass media learned that Europe is concerned about the desire of the US to make “peace” before providing security guarantees to Ukraine.
