French President Emmanuel Macron said that “European colleagues and allies” seek to provide “a fair, strong and long return of peace to Ukraine.”

That preceded: Earlier, Macron urged Europeans to make strategic decisions on Europe’s defense over the next weeks and to introduce joint European financing to increase purchases and production.

Macron also stated that the decision to send troops to Ukraine would not be made immediately, and that peace was needed.
