Details: Macron noted that on Sunday evening “along with several other European leaders” he participated in a discussion with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and US President Donald Trump. After that, according to Macron, he had a separate conversation with Zelensky.

What preceded: Earlier, an official from the Elysée Palace told “European Truth” on the condition of anonymity that a meeting of the “coalition of the determined” will be held in Paris in early January, where the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be expected.
“European Truth” also reported that on December 26, the Elysee Palace confirmed that security guarantees for Ukraine would be ready in January.

- December 24 Zelenskyi stated that Ukraine can submit a twenty-point peace agreement for ratification by the parliament or hold an all-Ukrainian referendum, and may also decide to hold elections in the country simultaneously with the referendum.
